How to make a new scratching post with sisal ropes?
Way 1: Tie a secure firm knot at the bottom of the pillar trunk, then start to twine sisal ropes way up till the top of post's tube. Tie a finishing knot, a scratch post done!
Way 2: You need additional tool accessories, like hot glue gun and glue sticks. Attach the head of the rope to the bottom of tube, starting to circle way up to the top end, cut the extra rope, glue the end then leave to dry in a night. Job done! For a firmer twining, you can pick to glue at some nodes. And it's quite useful for connecting several short ropes, no wasting of sisal/jute ropes.
